COMPASS 2018 was organized at West Bengal's top Engineering college Heritage Institute of technology

COMPASS 2018, the induction and orientation programme for the new batch of students was organized at West Bengal's top Engineering college Heritage Institute of technology Kolkata.


COMPASS- the induction & orientation programme of the new batch of  B.Tech students of Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata (HITK) commenced on 25th July. It was inaugurated by Swami Suparnanandji Maharaj, secretary, RK Mission Institute of Culture as the Chief Guest and Prof. Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay, Vice-chancellor, Amity University, Kolkata as the Guest of Honour. 

The progarmme also witnessed the presence of Mr. Azar Zia, UPSC Topper from Bengal 2017-18 and also an alumnus of   HITK. During the inaugural address, Swami Suparnanandji Maharaj spoke about character and productivity which are vital for today’s youth to succeed in life. 

Prof. Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay motivated the students to utilize their valuable time in engineering studies in optimum way keeping in mind the core values of the Institute . Shri P.R.Agarwala, Chairman, HITK spoke about how Institute had developed to a centre of excellence since 2001. Dr. Pranay Chaudhuri, Principal, Heritage Institute shared the journey of the institute from 2001 and the achievements thereafter where the Institute had been ranked among the top engineering colleges in West Bengal with promising cut offs by various ranking and rating agencies.

Kolkata's top school The Heritage School celebrated its 18th Foundation Day 2018 in a grand way.
